AUGUSTA, Ga. - October in Augusta marks a time to celebrate- with Oktoberfest, Saturday football games, and Halloween- there are plenty of excuses to indulge and imbibe. For the best view above Augusta, visit the Penthouse for live bands on Friday and Saturday night. From German cuisine to Game Day specials to Halloween happenings, The Partridge Inn welcomes Augusta into the newly renovated hotel for events throughout October.

Oktoberfest | October 1-31

If a plane ticket to Germany is not in the budget, celebrate Oktoberfest in Augusta. From now through October 31, feast on a special menu inspired by one Germany's most renowned festivals. Menu options include Bratwurst Burgers, Guinness-braised Brats, Heritage Farm Pork Schnitzel, and Painted Hill Flank Steak. For dessert, satisfy a sweet tooth with German Chocolate Cake, Soft Pretzels with Salted Caramel, and Apple Strudel. Wash down your meal with Oktoberfest drink specials, where German beers and cocktails are $6.50; Konig Ludwic Weisse, Pauliner Heffe Weisse, and Warstiner Lager, plus a German "bier cocktail" featuring Konig Ludwic Weisse bier and 1.5 ounces of raspberry liqueur. Oktoberfest will be served in newly renovated P.I. Bar & Grill on the second floor of the hotel.

Game Day Specials | Saturdays

Football season is in full swing, and The Partridge Inn has the best seat to watch the games- in the newly renovated Penthouse and rooftop that overlooks downtown Augusta. Every Saturday during football season, the hotel's rooftop bar will offer $1.00 wings, $3.00 domestic beers and $4.00 imported beers in addition to the P.I. Bar & Grill's regular menu. Two televisions will air the day's most popular games, so fans can watch all the action, and take in views of Augusta's skyline.

Halloween Party | October 31

Halloween falls on a Saturday this year, so celebrate and stay out late at The Partridge Inn. Come ready for spooky spiked libations, an exclusive menu, a costume contest, live entertainment, and even a special room rate. Specialty drinks include a Morgue-a-rita, a classic margarita with triple sec and tequila; Smoking Skulls, a bourbon shot with dry ice; and the Zombie Slime Shooter martini with peach and apple schnapps. In addition to the regular menu, the chef has created hauntingly inspiring dishes such as Deviled Eggs with Eyeballs, Halloween Spaghetti with a Mummy Breadstick, and Blood-Spattered Sugar Cookies. Don the best costume and win prizes in the costume contest. Take advantage of the hotel's special overnight rate of $109.00, "Take the Elevator Ride Home," which is available throughout the month of October.
